The MM2H participant may purchase ONE new motorcar made or assembled in Malaysia. He/She will be exempted from paying excise duty and sales tax on the new motorcar within one (1) year from the endorsement date of MM2H visa.
The following documents should be enclosed together with the application:-
1) Approval letter from Ministry of Finance. (First Stage)
2) A certified copy of the international passport

3. Quotation of motorcar/Purchase Order/Booking form.
4. Approval letter from Ministry of Finance upon obtaining chassis & engine no. from HMSB. (Second Stage)

PRECEDURE FOR ‘MM2H’
CUSTOMER
1. Provide all relevant document to dealer. (Item 1, 2 & 3)

1. Submit all relevant documents to HMSB to reserve for chasis.
2. Seek advise from HMSB on the allocation Month.
3. Inform customer the Estimated Delivery Timing

HMSB
1. Allocation Dept. will reserve the model & colour based on the booking form.
HMBB will issue confirmation letter to dealer containing model, engine & chassis no.
Dealer will handover HMSB confirmation letter to customer.
Submit all relevant document together with HMSB confirmation letter to Ministry of Finance-MOF to get approval. (2nd Stage)
Customer needs to submit a copy of MOF approval letter to dealer.
Dealer needs to submit the MOF approval letter to MHSB for custom clearance.
Dealer will handover HMSB confirmation letter to customer.
